Who trains with us
Built for the people who train drivers
CDL schools and training centers
You run the range and the road. We teach the theory online, so classroom days go to driving.
Workforce and job-training programs
Cohorts that go from no CDL to a skills test in a few weeks. Each student works at their own pace, on any phone.
Safety councils and associations
Offer ELDT theory to your members under your own name. We file the completions.
Cities and school bus operators
New bus drivers need Class B, Passenger and School Bus theory. One seat covers all three.
Carriers and contractors
Add Hazmat for your drivers or move them from Class B to Class A, without pulling them off the road for days.
We don't name the organizations that train with us unless they ask us to. Some offer the training under their own name, and that's their choice to make.
How partnering works

Each course has a private sign-up link. Students never see a DLA price, and the page can carry your name and logo.
- We file every completion
When a student passes and confirms their details, we submit the completion to the FMCSA Training Provider Registry within minutes. Your partner page shows it.

Questions
Questions schools and fleets ask
Who files the completion with the Training Provider Registry?
We do, for the theory part, because we delivered it. Behind-the-wheel training is filed by whichever registered provider taught it, usually your school or your own program.
Can we use our own branding?
Yes, on the sign-up page and in the course player. Upload your logo from your partner page. Certificates and registry records always name DLA Academy, because we are the provider of record for the theory.
Do you teach behind-the-wheel?
No. We teach ELDT theory online only. Class A, Class B, Passenger and School Bus also need behind-the-wheel training from a registered provider. Hazmat is theory only.
Can our instructors see the course?
Yes. Each staff member signs in with their own login and can read every lesson, the section questions with answers, and the final test question bank for the courses you have seats for. It's read-only.
Do students see what we pay?
No. Students see your organization and their course, never a DLA price. What you charge your students is up to you.
Can our organization be listed on this page?
Yes, if you'd like to be. The owner of a partner account can tick "List our name and logo on DLA Academy's website as a training partner" on their partner page, and we'll add you here. Untick it any time and we take you off. We never list anyone who hasn't asked.
Which states do you serve?
49 states. We're sorry, we don't serve Washington.
